I was visiting families at Beach Road to give out Deepavali vouchers from the Sri Krishnan Temple to some families and was at block 4 itself when an explosion was heard;

It was a fire and a few fire engines arrived shortly after and they put out the fire in no time!

No one was hurt, thank God!

Our SCDF is simply awesome!! (And HDB aka landlord of rental public housing, informed soon after on their plans to help re-accommodate the tenant affected)
