Boxing Day 2020 will always be a special day to remember.

Many helping hands launched a Fresh Foods Distribution initiative for residents in need, at the LoveConnect hub at Jalan Besar CC. Jamiyah Singapore’s food bank and Fresh Food for All, provided the fresh food supplies they get (a food truck came !);

Good Karma volunteers under Ritu’s lead sorted n curated the supplies; so many grassroots volunteers co-ordinated by Estee and Joewind; staff walked the extra miles preparing for this major weekly exercise - all ended well with a number of Comcare residents happily getting this rare supply of fresh foods n vegetables (no more only canned foods).

Many of us stood for more than five hours, excitedly helping out and covering any operational gaps.

A beautiful and fulfilling day for many who came along - too many to name. My heart was so full. Thank you
