A makan treat for students from the rental blocks

My Central CDC with the other 4 CDCs are partnering Dr Tahir, an Indonesian philanthropist, as well as Grab Singapore, to bring subsidised meals to students who need them.

We have rolled out the ‘CDC STUDENT MEALS’ Scheme which aims to help families with Primary and/or Secondary Schools children and living in rental blocks to defray the cost of buying meals during the circuit breaker period ; an additional bonus (complementing MOE’s FA programme) so our young ones will not go hungry as they stay at home during HBL.

Students can pre-order on the GrabFood App, and self-pick-up the meals from neighbouring food merchants; to save delivery fees. For those without a phone, please ask your parents to help register.

Eligible students, do sign up for the scheme! Parents and schools please help too.
