The Budget and Committee of Supply Debates season is one of the highlights in Parliament each year. As always, many needs, demands, dreams and aspirations will be raised.

Decisions to balance short term vs long term priorities and expenditure; building income streams; further dipping into reserves to combat the pandemic etc - are all important and difficult matters that affect all of us Singaporeans.

So, look out for the Budget 2021 statement by Finance Minister and DPM Heng Swee Keat on 16 Feb. Big thanks to the Ministry of Finance team whom I know has been plodding days and nights to prepare this Budget (and the previous ones) for these unusual times.
