Managed to squeeze in time before Parliament sitting to join some senior residents at the Perennial X Central Singapore CDC Seniors Day Out at Capitol Theatre.

Held at Singapore’s history-rich Capitol Theatre, the joint event by Perennial Holdings and Central Singapore Community Development Council aimed to uplift our seniors’ well-being and promote positive ageing.

Together with our gung-ho Grassroots Advisors Kwek Hian Chuan Henry and Nadia A. Samdin whose residents were present, I believe we succeeded in achieving that yesterday.

Interactive games, a singing session, and a movie screening (Mark Lee!) – more than 300 seniors really got to enjoy a morning filled with activities yesterday.

Central Singapore CDC serves close to one million residents with a focus to help our residents live “The Better Life”.

Support from valued partners such as Perennial Holdings is key. Shout out to their leaders- Seck Guan, KaPin, Dawn and all! So grateful for their generosity, not just in terms of sponsorship, but for availing their 80 staff as volunteers for our event.
