Hear ye, Heartland Merchants!

Another tranche of $100 CDC Vouchers to every Singaporean household (regardless of housing type) will be given out in May 2022.

This is part of the Government’s efforts to support Singapore households and heartland businesses.

As of now, one in three eligible merchants has been onboarded, with more than 5,500 onboarded merchants located in the Central Singapore district.

National-wide and more than a whopping 1 million Singaporean Households have claimed their CDC Vouchers.

That’s a mighty record.

But we urge even more merchants to join so we can benefit more families.

Last week, my Central Singapore CDC team and I, with supportive partners, Mr Yeo Hiang Meng, BBM from The Federation Of Merchants' Associations, Mr Kwek Theng Swee from Heartland Enterprise Centre Singapore, OpenGov SG and IMDA, specially organised a Briefing Session for representatives from Merchants & Hawkers Associations to thank them for their support for rallying merchants to onboard the scheme.

Thankful to all attendees (close to 150 attended!) who took time out of their business to join us to celebrate this milestone.
