Very happy to be invited to Willing Hearts’ new mega community kitchen opening at Telok Kurau recently.

Founder Tony Tay and his team have been a great partner with our grassroots team in providing free daily meals at my Beach Road estate. The kitchen cooks up a storm (of 11k meals a day) with volunteers and donor supplies.

A multi-religious group of faith leaders was invited to bless the kitchen. Minister Edwin Tong, Parl Sec Eric Chua and MP Tin Pei Ling were there with me to support the mission.

No one should go hungry in our society where food is aplenty and sometimes wasted.
