Radio Interview with 96.3 HAO FM

Although my Mandarin is not great, I took part in a radio interview with 96.3 HAO FM on assisting rough sleepers which aired today.

With me were DJs Teck Ming, Jing Yun, and Jackie . Fellow panelists - Reverend Ezekiel Tan of Hope Initiative Alliance and Zechariah Heng of The New Charis Mission.

I touched on Central Singapore CDC’s “Rough Sleepers (Homeless) Assist Programme” which provides clean and safe homes for rough sleepers through the one-off furnishing of:

  • Rental units (Thank you for your partnership, The New Charis Mission) and

  • Safe Sound Sleeping Place (S3P) at our community partners’ premises

If you know of anyone rough sleeping or in need of assistance, please call the 24-hour ComCare hotline at 1800-222-0000.

If you can spare the time, talk to them and be their friend. Or refer them to the nearest Social Service Office/Family Service Centre where help is readily available.

As they say, it takes a village. Alone, we can do so little. Together, we can do so much more. Let’s continue to Do Good together.
