Best kept secret at PEACE CENTRE, Selegie - check it out . The sold mall is still open till Feb 2024 but with a different purpose and mission!

First the backdrop - I was over at the Peace Centre to help launch a World Sight Day spearheaded by The OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation of global eyewear leader EssilorLuxottica. An immersive vision experiential zone showcasing charity vision clinics across the globe was part of the launch. And an MOU signing between ITE College Central and the Foundation. Plus eye screening and eyewear for more than 120 elderly residents!

AND as I toured the rest of the mall, I discovered an amazing COLLECTIVE of mostly YOUTH-OPERATED shops - from mascot making to artworks to mural exhibits to beautiful pre-loved books and apparel!

All curated by do-good volunteers like Gary Hong (owner of AutoBahn), Yvonne Siow (EssilorLuxottica Foundation), and their followings.

You should take a look and support these amazing and creative young people!!
