Creating Clean and Safe Homes for our Seniors with the Help of Student Volunteers

Did you know that Central Singapore District has the highest number of seniors and public rental rental flats? It takes many helping hands to keep the flats clean, healthy, and safe for seniors to live in.

'Silver Homes' is an ongoing programme by Central Singapore CDC. *In 2023 Jan-May alone, close to 700 volunteers from 10 corporate and school partners lent their hands to spring clean, paint, and freshen MORE THAN 150 HOMES of vulnerable seniors.

Helping Hands come in all shapes, colour, and sizes.

Silver Homes is able to keep going with the support of our regular volunteers from like-minded corporates and schools such as St. Andrew's Junior College, DHL Singapore, Hewlett-Packard Singapore and even our SAF units such as Signal Institute_

Just this week, students from National JC and Nanyang JC refreshed the 20 homes and warmed the hearts of the seniors from Sarah AAC and Anglican Senior Centre.

CAN WE CLEAN 1,000 HOMES AND WARM THE HEARTS OF VULNERABLE SENIORS BEFORE 2023 ENDS?

If your organisation have hands to spare and hearts to give, contact my CENTRAL CDC team to find out more!
