May Day with Willing Hearts Founder

This May Day, my hubby and I took Tony Tay, founder of Willing Hearts, and his wife, Mary, to lunch. Both are in their 70s.

Tony and his Willing Hearts’ team of staff and volunteers have been cooking and distributing meals for 21 years.

Some of my residents are beneficiaries of this daily hot meal ministry.

WH’s central kitchen is at Telok Kurau. 365 days, about 8,000 meals per day. Tony starts at 4:30 AM daily.

I asked Tony what keeps him going and staying strong despite many challenges. He said, "God's providence" and shared some amazing blessings they experienced.
