So pleased to be able to celebrate Dumpling Festival with nearly 300 residents at Kebun Bahru Division @ Central with buddies Kwek Hian Chuan Henry and Linda Loke.

Today’s event was facilitated by our Central CDC, the goodie bags were packed and distributed by the awesome Si Chuan Dou Hua team and Kebun Baru volunteers strongly led by their Grassroots Advisor Henry Kwek. Special goodie bags comprising daily essentials and halal rice dumplings were the gifts of love for the day.

One of many collaborative events, it builds on 13 years of partnership between Central CDC and Si Chuan Dou Hua. Really thankful to owner Ms Wee Wei Ling, Linda Loke, and the Si Chuan Dou Hua team who have been serving with us since 2011 with such passion and sincerity!

The Festive Cheers programme today is one of our CDC’s 52 initiatives to connect the community. Over the years, we have shared the festive spirit with over 10,000 beneficiaries.

I urge more businesses to come forward to do good with us in the community! It can be fun (and therapeutic).
