It's a once-in-a-lifetime privilege to be able to start an orchestra comprising mostly musicians who have special needs and different abilities.
My Central CDC team and I are mighty proud of our young CHOIR members of The Purple Symphony. Many of them are visually impaired.
Last week, they were joined by 5 Pathlight School Choir boys to perform at the SCO's Rhapsodies of Spring 2025 concert 《春花齐放2025:金蛇狂舞喜迎春》音乐会.
The concert was SOLD OUT! Missed your chance to watch it? Don't worry! Gather your loved ones and tune in to the TV broadcast on 29 Jan at 11:30 AM.
Here's a sneak preview of them doing an a cappella for Mrs. Goh Chok Tong, a strong supporter of the arts.
Mrs. Goh and I were backstage to greet the young choir members and their instructors. Such a treat to hear them sing so joyfully!
