The Purple Parade gathering of 2019 is over ( for now). How does one thank enough the more than 10,000 people and 242 organisations in business, community and government who gave so sincerely and unselfishly their time , efforts and care for a worthy purpose?

The Purple Parade 2019 was in the making for the last months with heartfelt plodding work behind the scene. So so many laid down their boundaries and busyness and came together to call for greater awareness and action for inclusion and to look beyond the disabilities and celebrate the abilities of our beloved special needs community.

Please accept my deepest gratitude to all of you who walked that mile and many extras with the community. I’m off to work now but I hope you will accept my sincere thanks (from a parent, volunteer, advocate and fellow human being).
