Easter Greetings
Blessed Easter Sunday greetings to my friends who are Christians.
The crucifixion (on Good Friday) and resurrection (on Easter Sunday) of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of Christianity. To me, a lesson about loving unconditionally and learning to die to oneself for a bigger, more worthy purpose.
My pastor, Rev Kow, shared at today's online service an interesting perspective of the Easter weekend:
One can view 'Friday' when Jesus was nailed to death as the dashing of all hopes; and see 'Sunday' when Jesus arose from the dead as the day of victory. But it is the 'Saturday' when God appears to be silent, that - is the time to hold on to one's faith and not lose hope.
It is challenging times now in Singapore - with the COVID-19 outbreak and the circuit breaker restrictions we are going through together.
But fear not and take comfort in knowing that 'Saturday' will give way to 'Sunday'; and 'Sunday' will come.
Keep safe and keep well.
