National Development Minister Desmond Lee announced 2 bold moves this week :

  • Stricter BTO rules to ensure the prime Kelantan/Rochor new flats will be kept for stayers

  • Conserving the iconic Golden Mile Complex as part of Singapore’s (modern) heritage

Residents living in our popular central district are often witnesses to exciting changes to Singapore’s urban landscape.

It is not easy to embrace sometimes but not easy either for the urban planners to ensure as many stakeholders as possible, embrace and see the need for change.
