One Million Trees to be Planted by 2030

To restore nature back into our city through the planting of more than a million trees across Singapore over the next 10 years - an NParks initiative to green our country.

To date, 272,232 trees already planted! Couldn’t have happened without Community efforts.

I joined in planting several trees outside our Kampong Glam community centre this morning; with help of MEWR Minister Grace Fu and partners from NParks , Public Hygiene Council and volunteers.

Tree planting was started way back by founding PM Lee Kuan Yew, even before going green was a buzzword.

The visionary he always was, Mr LKY had insisted on a clean and green garden city. And his legacy continues till today.

We installed a small #CleanPod to store cleaning equipment for residents and volunteers who help to clean the estates.

Looking forward to more of us doing our part to better support the estate cleaners daily.

We will get there.
