Family Reunion Dinners on Chinese New Year eves for the Chinese are precious occasions. But not everyone can be at a reunion tonight for many reasons - the friendly stall assistants I met who cannot make it home to their hometowns this year due to COVID-19; my friend who has to remain in the hospital for his treatment; and the many who are still working tonight.
