Noodles for Good @ Catholic High School
I was mighty pleased to meet Chun Seng, an Eden School alumnus and his mother today running their Noodles for Good kiosk at Catholic High School, 公教中学.
It is a good example of Budget 2021‘s push for Alliances for Action to jointly develop ground solutions to address some of the gaps in our society. Noodles for Good was brokered by our Central Singapore CDC and made possible only by the passion and grit of partners like Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurants, ARC’s job centre E2C and the amazing mother of Chun Seng. Not forgetting gracious big-hearted venue providers like Catholic High School.
Not all adults with disabilities can work in an open setting but every successful case is one to rejoice about. So is serving with partners who are willing to plod through mostly unglamorous work to make this world a tad better.
