Visit to Pek Kio Market with Minister of State Alvin Tan

Visited Pek Kio Market which is in Minister of State Alvin Tan’s ward but frequented by both our residents.

So many friendly residents and hawkers (and good food!). Alvin is new to politics but doing a great job so far.

Don’t mean to brag but I’ve always predicted that his work experience in firms like Goldman Sachs, Facebook, LinkedIn coupled with his genuine care for people - would do him well in public, political service.

I am thankful that the next generation of Singapore politicians comprises folks like him - good heart, head and hands!
