Opening of Marymount CC

A newly minted Marymount CC has arrived!

Marymount residents, rejoice! You have a brand new CC.

I was so excited to have been part of its grand opening together with my fellow grassroots advisers and residents.

Marymount CC is the newest CC in our Central Singapore District.

Community clubs are important in neighbourhoods as it provides an area for residents to come together. From exercising to participating in workshops and classes, community clubs provide opportunities for interaction and learning.

As part of the launch, the Central Singapore CDC also partnered with the Marymount team to include SUSTAINABILITY Workshops for residents!

The five sessions held today allowed participants to make cable car terrariums, coin pouches, toy cars, and upcycled photo frames – all with recycled materials.
