PAP Conference and Awards Ceremony 2022
Together with 200 selfless volunteers and PAP HQ staff, I am part of a team that helped organised this year’s PAP Conference and Awards ceremony for 3,500 participants - programming, traffic management, food enough for all, ushering, and all.
To top it, we arranged a musical skit that chronicled how the government and people of Singapore overcame COVID, the decade's crisis.
Months of hard work by many committed folks.
But worth it, it was!
Today was a significant event for the political party that forms Singapore’s ruling government today.
Not only were more than 400 comrades officially recognised for their service, a new Central Executive Committee was elected to lead Singapore forward.
Secretary-General PM Lee Hsien Loong spoke about how the Party has been taking action to deliver the promises made in GE 2020
“We have kept faith with you; we have kept you safe through the pandemic; and you know we are always keeping our eye on the road ahead, ensuring progress for Singapore and Singaporeans.”
He also highlighted on seeing through difficult issues and never taking the right to govern for granted.
Newly minted Lawrence Wong said we cannot take Singaporeans’ mandate for granted and to work together to create a Singapore that we want to see.
