Give and Take Market continues at Jalan Besar GRC - offering essential goods and services to families in greater need; and calling corporate and individual givers who have new home items, cash or essential services to give.

This market serves families in rental blocks with children aged 19 and below in the GRC.

Beneficaries get to 'shop' at the local Community Clubs, picking things they need. The Market rotates across four divisions at the Kampong Glam, Kreta Ayer , Kolam Ayer, and Whampoa CCs monthly - for as long as we can find enough donors and volunteers.

I am so pleased we get a chance to offer a singing gig by visually-impaired talent Mr Jaffar, from The Purple Symphony as part of our CDC's attempt to create livelihood for the 'differently abled'.
