In my lifetime (to date), I started and owned 2 enterprises. Not without some awesome teammates.
One was a leadership training firm which I sold to spend more time in a special school that I co-founded. This was before my days as an MP.
My second biz venture was a cafe which my husband and I later gifted to a charity so they can scale and create even more jobs for folks with special needs. A social enterprise, the Professor Brawn Cafe.
As part of Central Singapore CDC’s efforts to promote lifelong learning , I join a few (current) entrepreneurs to share our experiences and lessons. An effort to support our nation’s SkillsFuture movement.
