Happy Easter and Happy Tamil New Year 2022

I hope you had a Happy Easter and Happy Tamil New Year, dear friends who were celebrating either.

I had a very meaningful morning at Church listening to my Pastor’s reminder to live a life of purpose, provisions, and presence.

And then together with my volunteers, we visited the homes of some 300 Hindu residents, with a modest gift of Indian sweets.

Some of them were pleasantly surprised by the Tamil greetings and phrases we learned the day before in a “Let’s Learn Tamil” workshop.

Next stop, before Hari Raya Puasa, we will be learning some basic Malay conversational phrases - as part of our pledge to build racial harmony. Watch this space and join us in the next language workshop.
