Domestic Workers' Day

I would not have been able to take on my various jobs, had it not been for the angels sent my way - our family’s domestic helper(s).

Delia is living with us for 30 years now; and Ika who’s back in Indonesia treated my mom who had Alzheimer’s disease, like her own.

Hence my sincere gratitude when I met many domestic helpers today; at the celebration of International Domestic Workers’ Day.

Organised by ADEO (Alliance of Domestic Employees Outreach ) of Hope Initiative Alliance and Partners; we all had fun.

And there will be even more gatherings and outreach in the coming days!
