Mid Autumn Cheers for our Elderly Residents!
It’s not often that our elderly residents in our rental flats get to enjoy a classy afternoon high tea in a classy restaurant.
But it’s becoming an annual tradition to ring in a Mid-Autumn festival high tea (plus goodies) for our seniors - thanks to our CDC’s ever-faithful corporate partner, Ms Wee Wei Ling, Executive Director of Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant.
Amazing food prepared by the amazing chefs and served by 27 staff volunteers who gave up their rest hours.
So glad too that Ms Joan Pereira, Adviser to Tanjong Pagar GRC could come along and join the 120 beneficiaries from Henderson-Dawson whom we invited.
They brought home goodie bags filled with items like organic vegetables, biscuits, toothpaste, NTUC vouchers, and of course MOONCAKES! Made possible by even more sponsors like Kwang Cheong Thye and Zenxin Agri-Organic Food.
