Sustainability Workshops @ Central Singapore CDC
Another offering from Central SG CDC! Folks, do your part for the environment - and your wallet!
Don’t want to pay 5 cents for a bag? Use FREE materials to make your own!
Proud to offer our SUSTAINABILITY WORKSHOPS to residents across 23 divisions as part of 1 of our 42 programme offerings here at Central Singapore CDC.
Residents learn to upcycle common household materials and waste into usable products.
In 2023, we conducted over 90 workshops so far, with nearly 1,200 residents taking part.
Just this month, participants from Kampung Glam and Ang Mo Kio Division made tote bags using rice packaging and t-shirts.
Residents at Cheng-San Seletar made household items such as body scrubs, candles and tissue holders.
Our free CDC workshops are all about encouraging a zero-waste lifestyle through the 6Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Repurpose, and Recycle - to support the Singapore Green Action Plan.
My CDC team is organising more workshops, so stay tuned to the @centralsgcdc page or subscribe to our monthly EDM, E-Voices, for more information.
Let's reduce waste together and make our community a better place for everyone!
