This round, my team and I featured women who found purpose in their own special ways.

Dr Chua Yang, a gynaecologist whose enthusiasm for photography led her to create a photobook, 'Women Inspiring Women' - to honour women from all walks of life.

Ms Dipa Swaminathan, a lawyer and driving force behind ItsRainingRaincoats, started during the COVID pandemic to uplift our migrant workers.

Ms Jacelyn Tay, actress turned wellness advocate, who battled chronic fatigue syndrome to found a wellness center to heal others.

Some of our new initiatives include:

• JOBS NEAR ME at Central for central residents looking for employment;

• SCHOOL BUS FARE SUBSIDY GRANT for eligible families affected by school bus fare hikes;

• CHESS at Central to teach sportsmanship and strategy to our young!
