Last Sunday, I invited Ms. Jac Ang to share her amazing journey raising her special son who has high support needs.

Her story touched and encouraged many families and volunteers in our ward’s Purple Hearts support group. Several wept.

Purple Hearts was formed after I found, during my door-knocking house visits, many ageing parents who were looking after their special needs children. Some of their children are already in their fifties.

Our grassroots volunteers got together and regularly conduct visitations and phone calls to try to journey with these residents.
