Meeting with the Members of NICA

Spent some interesting time earlier with the members of the National Instructors & Coaches Association (NICA) with MP Edward Chia Bing Hui.

Both of us are advisers to this Union facilitated by NTUC Singapore. And looking to understand their concerns, needs, and contributions.

The paths of the many coaches, instructors and trainers (usually freelance) are not easy; many are not quite enjoying the stability of full-time employment.

Yet, they form an important segment of the local workforce and in growing numbers in many industries - music, sports, public comms .…
