Celebrating CNY with The Purple Symphony

What a joyous time we had with our friends from The Purple Symphony (TPS) at our Chinese New Year celebration lunch! It's been long since we last celebrated together.

Singapore’s largest inclusive orchestra has come a long way since its inception in 2015. It comprises>100 musicians with and without special needs

The Purple Symphony is 1 of 52 district-wide programmes facilitated by the @CentralSingaporeCDC to serve our residents. From scratch. With passion and persistence.

This meal was truly special as we came together to mark the accomplishments of our talented performers.

I had such a blast enjoying the music and movement throughout the lunch.

2022 was an unforgettable year for us, filled with fantastic live performances that touched so many lives.

From playing at the National Gallery to the joint performance with the Harvard Dins and even performing at the Istana for the National Day observance ceremony, TPS shone on many stages. Made possible only by the hard work and dedication of our talented musicians.

Thank you, all, for believing in the cause of supporting inclusion and celebrating the abilities of the disability community.

I'm excited for what 2023 holds for TPS. It's sure to be an exhilarating year ahead. Looking forward to making more memories together!
