Embracing Neurodiversity and Unlocking the Talents of a Neurodiverse Workforce @ AmCham Singapore

Very pleased to be invited to address some 100 corporate representatives of The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore) on a topic close to my heart and of high interest to employers: Embracing Neurodiversity and Unlocking the Talents of a Neurodiverse Workforce.

Neurodiversity describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits. In fact, differences can promote diversity in ideas and innovation.

If trained and supported, neurodiverse individuals can contribute positively to organizations. The term neurodiversity is often used in the context of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as other neurological or developmental conditions such as ADHD or learning disabilities.

I’m very heartened that AmCham Singapore CEO Dr. Hsien-Hsien Lei and her board initiated the session, and I am grateful that PayPal offered to host it.

I’m glad to share the developments over the years in Singapore and seek the support of all the American businesses here to take inclusive employment to the next level.

Deeply appreciate the interest!
